The King Jason is situated in the heart of Protaras, a beach town on the island of Cyprus, especially known for its beautiful landscape, crystal clear waters, sandy beaches, majestic sunsets, mild climate, warm hospitality and authentic culinary tradition. The nearby Larnaca airport is superbly connected with frequent direct flights from all over Europe, and is only a 30-minute drive from the King Jason.
The hotel is located right on Fig-Tree Bay, a picture-perfect coastal area recently voted as the sixth best beach in Europe. It is only a short walk from the popular sea-front promenade, which features trendy beach bars and crisp views of the blue horizon. For shoppers, the Protaras strip is situated only a five-minute walk away, whereas the sports nuts can enjoy bike rides and jogs along the nearby coastal path. Those lucky enough to have a car can also visit several other points of interest like golf courses, diving sites, monuments and picturesque villages.

Directions from: Larnaca International Airport to The King Jason Protaras
Paphos International Airport is smaller than its counterpart in Larnaca and is widely regarded as the secondary airport of our island; as a result, flights to Paphos often cost less than Larnaca but transfers to the hotel are therefore longer and more expensive. By booking enough in advance guests can find flights for as little as 150 Euros from some of Europe’s biggest cities. Examples of low-cost carriers flying to Paphos and/or Larnaca include:
Easyjet – flying from London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Berlin, Milan, Basel
Ryanair – flying from Brussels, London, Manchester, Rome, Stockholm, Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, Krakow
Monarch – flying from Birmingham, London, Manchester, Leeds
Flyniki – flying from Vienna
Germania – flying from Berlin, Erfurt, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Dresden
Aegean – flying from Athens, Thessaloniki
Wizz Air – flying from Warsaw, Bucharest, Budapest, Kiev, Sofia
Blue Air – flying from Athens, Bucharest, London, Thessaloniki
Norwegian – flying from London
A recent novelty of the King Jason Collection is the ‘Flight + Room’ functionality, whereby guests can book their flights and accommodation, in one package deal, directly on our website. This platform provides a one-stop shop that offers convenience for travelers and makes the travel planning phase much easier.
There are bus stops within 2-3 minutes walk from the King Jason Protaras, servicing routes 101, 102, 703, 706 and 711; a one way ticket costs 1.50 Euros and a day pass 5 Euros.
There are many car-hire companies in Cyprus with offices in the city as well as at airports; we suggest using Europcar, Avis or Sixt, which are the biggest and most well-known suppliers in the region.
For bookings of 10 nights and more we offer complimentary transfers to and from the closest airport. This benefit is only valid for direct online bookings and not for bookings through third parties.
